This web-site is put up by residents of Nassau County and Suffolk County who want to preserve Jones Beach State Park as a welcoming place for all people. We do not want our public resource to become an overblown, luxury catering hall, to the exclusion of the public, and for the sole profit of a few rich people.

To get involved in the battle to save Jones Beach for fair, public use, you can contact Pat Friedman at: (516) 582-5838.

Kimberly writes: I think the best way to find out is to call Pat Friedman. I think a lot of the situation is that it is in the hands of the government. But, Pat stays on top of things, and may have a lawsuit open on it.

The latest I saw was just the news story that the state wants Trump to pay taxes. That is a good sign.

      Thanks for checking in.
